Trying something a little new this week based on your feedback. My meal plans have always been about providing healthy, delicious and easy meals for you and your family. But sometimes the super healthy stuff doesn’t always go over so well with the littles. So, I’m going to provide two meal plans this week – a low calorie plan and a family friendly plan. In order to give you both, I’m going to need to shorten my descriptions of the recipes. Please send feedback as I will only continue if it’s something that benefits all of you! For the grocery lists – there will now be two recipes for each date, Monday – Friday – just FYI!
Sunday, November 10th // Family Sunday Supper ~ Chicken Pot Pie // We can do this y’all. Straight forward recipe. I will use an entire rotisserie chicken and a store bought pie crust. I can’t wait!

Tuesday, November 12th // Low Calorie ~ Spinach Tortellini en Brodo // Family ~ Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole
Wednesday, November 13th // Low Calorie ~ Asado Chicken and Sauteed Lemon Zucchini // Family Friendly ~ Green Chili Chicken (Purchase can of mild chilis for kiddos)
Thursday, November 14th // Healthy ~ Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry // Family ~ Buitoni Three Cheese Tortellini, Ground Sausage & Mezzetta Parmigiano Reggiano Sauce
Three Cheese Tortellini with Sausage
Ingredients
- 1 20oz Container of Buitoni Three Cheese Tortellini
- 1 lb mild Italian sausage
- 1 jar (16.25 oz.) Mezzetta Parmigiano Reggiano Marinara
- salt, pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook and crumble the sausage over medium heat. Turn heat to low.
- Meanwhile, cook tortellini via package instructions. Drain.
- Add cooked tortellini to sausage, dump in marinara sauce and season to taste. Simmer until sauce is warm and flavors meld, about five minutes. Enjoy!
