Yesterday I shared a quick and easy chicken recipe on my Instagram Stories and the response was so great I decided to share it over here for all to access. Pickle Juice Brined Chicken – such a simple way to spice up a plain chicken breast by simply pouring in the yummy flavors of dill and peppercorn from a leftover jar of pickles!
Pickle Juice Brined Chicken Breast
What You Need:
- 2 Cups of Pickle Juice (leftover from a jar of dill pickles or you can purchase a gallon of pickle juice HERE. You may love it that much!!)
- 2 chicken breast
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
What You Do:
Place the chicken breast in a shallow container and pour pickle juice to cover. Marinate for 1 hour up to 8! If you want your chicken to have a little kick of sweet, mix 1 tbsp. brown sugar with pickle juice prior to pouring. If you want sweet & spice, toss in some red pepper flakes.

There are so many ways to cook pickle juice chicken. You can bake it, grill it, fry it, air fry it or cook it in the pan. The options are endless.
